Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Ronan
Date: 23/02/19

"Ronan is excellent. Knowledgeable without being boring. Funny. Well purposed. Engaging. Looked after the group well. Some guides seem to just love the attention. But Ronan seems to be interested in sharing his passion for history and interest with others. A natural. "

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: David
Date: 20.02.19

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the 4 hours spent on the Berlin Walking Tour. We thought about a red bus tour at first but decided against it in favour of a walking tour. How lucky we were. David was our tour guide and he was superb. He was charismatic, humorous, incredibly knowledgeable and wonderfully passionate about his work. He truly loved Berlin. Had we been staying longer we would have undoubted signed up for more tours with David. Insider Tours have a real star in their ranks. Many Manthorpe thanks indeed. Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Mike
Date: 12/02/19

"Cannot thank Mike enough for showing us around Berlin and all of the amazing facts he gave us along the way. Opened our eyes to the history of Berlin and showed us what a beautiful city it is. He was so full of knowledge, dates and even remembered everyone in the groups names, now that’s impressive! There was a big group of us and somehow he made sure nobody was left out, he took the time to ge to know us all individually. He showed us the best angles to get amazing photos and even took some photos for us. The tour over ran by one hour as we had a lot of questions (which he had the answers to) and he still offered to stay later to help make sure we all got to our next destination safely. Me and my friend (Becky) had never been to Berlin before and it was our first full day there and we saw more than we ever would, we saw things we never knew existed and we felt so comfortable that we were with someone who knew the way around. Mike spoke loudly and clearly without shouting and also had photos as props so we could see some of the before and afters of some locations and buildings. Mike also helped us buy our train tickets which were needed for the first part of the tour. Even down to the little details such as making sure we all crossed the roads safely, he was amazing! In the excitement of it all we regretfully forgot to tip him at the end of the tour so we took a trip back to the meeting point the day after and unfortunately he wasn’t there, so if you’re reading this Mike, we love you and thank you for an amazing day you made our holiday!!!"

"We loved the tour! It was a rainy and cold day... we were a couple with three kids aged between 10 and 12 years portuguese native speakers and the experience was fantastic. Jamie is an incredible story teller so knowledgeable about the period, Highly recommend!"

Date: 09/01/19

"A fascinating tour which has left a real impression on how we see Berlin. It seems like a much more interesting and significant city. This is all thanks to J.J., who not only provided the important facts (and answered all our questions), but did so in an entertaining way, partially due to his evident enthusiasm and genuine interest in the city. J.J. has also opened a new currywurst path to our lives. "

Tour: Cold War Berlin
Guide: Pip
Date: 29.11.18

"A fascinating insight into life in Berlin during the Cold War. Pip successfully conveyed the feeling of isolation, fear of denunciation, danger and lack of trust that existed during those years in the former GDR. A really enthusiastic and well-informed guide who also provided many suggestions to those who wanted to investigate the subject further."

Steve Kukla (Berlin) e-Mail: Alkuk23(at)

Tour: Third Reich Berlin
Guide: Chloe
Date: 28.10.18

"Fantastic tour! Thank you so much. Chloe is a passionate, well-informed, creative storyteller who puts you immediately at ease, while she introduces you to Berlin and, in particular, the dramatic history of the rise and fall of the Third Reich. You should definitely seek her out as your tour guide. She conveyed the essence of many of the memorials and sights and they came to life again, many leaving deep emotional impacts as you come to understand the reality of what happened in this part of history.
