"Wonderful, informative guide who had clearly researched her subject and was enthusiastic about sharing the info. Easily our best tour in Berlin. She managed the group well, was friendly and capable. I wish we'd signed up with Chloe and Insider for all our tours in Berlin."

Tour: Cold War Berlin
Guide: Jamie
Date: 11.06.19

"Today's Cold War walking tour with Jamie was superb. Jamie is immensely knowledgeable. We learnt a whole lot about the reason the wall went up, how it came down, and about the period in between. There was more to it with the broader German impacts, so I highly recommend this tour."

Linda Garrett (California) e-Mail: lindagarrett2009(at)xxxxx.com

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Brian Bell
Date: 01.03.19

"I joined the Famous Walk day on a very cold March day, but our guide Brian Bell kept us moving and entertained for four fascinating hours. A tall, theatrical, talented Texan, Brian conveyed his love of history and of Berlin with infectious enthusiasm. The great advantage of a winter-time tour is a small group, allowing for a more intimate experience and an opportunity to interact with fellow participants, in this case from Wales, Canada and the U.S. It was such a cold day that I hurried off to the train at the end of the tour, forgetting to tip Brian (my apologies) or to exchange contact information with new friends (my regrets.) I have no hesitation in highly recommending Brian and Insider Tours for well-organized, friendly and informative walking tours of Berlin. Linda Garrett, California"

Tour: The Famous Insider Walk
Guide: Josh
Date: 04.05.19

"Perfect intro to Berlin. Learnt about places that I would have just walked past. Perspective and contexts explained. Josh responded to our interests and questions . More of a dialogue than a walking lecture. Thank you "

Tour: Private Main Sights - Famous Walk
Guide: Chloe
Date: 17/05/19

"Chloe was enthusiastic and inspiring. She had researched her history and had a host of both amusing and sobering anecdotes of East Berlin, life under the regime and the impact of die Mauer on German life and world history. I do not know how she kept it up for four hours but she was fantatstic"

Tour: Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial
Guide: Ronan
Date: 06/04/19

"Last Saturday we took the tour to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. Being Israelis and Jewish this visit was the highlight of our trip to Berlin. From the moment we met Ronan we understood he was the perfect guide to that horrible place. He was so sensitive, talented, gifted guide. He provided the whole group with details and historical accounts of the events. We were the only participants who had a strong connection with the Holocaust and Ronan was the perfect teacher who “taught” and explained with details and sensitivity the process and the horrors of those darkest years. We could not have a better guide, Ronan is an excellent historian, and did his best to try and help all the group through the long walks. He even helped us find the train to get back to Berlin and got off in the station where we had to take another train walking us to the right platform. We felt that not only we had learnt a new lesson but met a wonderful person. Thanks Ronan for having been our guide. Ruben and Gabriela Yudelevich, Israel, April 2019 "

Tour: Private Main Sights - Famous Walk
Guide: Barnaby
Date: 08/04/19

"A beautiful warm sunny tour given by the extremely knowledgable Barnaby. We walked miles and learnt so much. Barnaby explained things in a very understandable way with just the right amount of humour when appropriate. Toilet stop and a great lunch with a trip on the S-Bahn to finish. To be recommended. Thank you Barnaby."
