Learn all about Berlin on this tour, which charts the city’s development from the time of the Teutonic Knights through to its key role in the major events of the twentieth century, as capital of the Nazi Third Reich, as the divided city of the Cold War, and as the modern capital of a unified Germany in the new Europe!

You will see the Berlin Cathedral, Museum Island, site of the Nazi book-burning, Gendarmenmarkt, Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall, Görings Airforce Ministry, Hitler’s bunker, the death strip area fortifications, Memorial dedicated to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag building, East Side Gallery and many more!

Insider Reviews

Best of Berlin

We did the hidden Berlin tour with insider Berlin and loved it. While it is a long drive from Rostock, it is well worth your time and money. Our guide Anne grew up as a east Berliner and saw the wall coming down as a teenager. We saw a lot of the major sites and finished the day at a great German beer garden. A really nice day. Our driver micha was also very nice and got us back to our port swiftly before we sailed. Highly recommended!!!

Great tour guide

This was a fantastic 4 hour tour. Worth every penny and time spent. Extremely knowledgeable tour guide who is very passionate about his job. Highly recommended. Keep up the great work.

Great tour

We had a limited amount of time, having come from a cruise ship in Warnemünde - 3 hours from Berlin. Our guide showed us the main sites, explained the history and was a very pleasant presence throughout. I can highly recommend this tour - I travelled with a daughter in her early twenties.
